Jum’at, 28 Januari 2022, as part of a multi-partner collaboration incorporated in The Global Centre of Spatial Methods for Urban Sustainability GCSMUS – https://gcsmus.org/ which is coordinated by Prof. Dr. Angela Million and Prof. Dr. Nina Bauer from TU Berlin, Urban and Regional Planning Department (DPWK) – UNDIP become a part of the SMUS MOOCS launching which was attended by several universities in the network GCSMUS. The MOOC theme carried by DPWK UNDIP is “Climate Change Adaptation in Indonesian Cities: Promoting and Building Resilience from Below” – https://gcsmus.org/moocs/mooc-4-climate-change-adaptation-in-indonesian-cities-promoting-and-building-resilience-from-below/ which is currently available on the MOOC platform of Universitas Diponegoro (https://moocs.undip.ac.id/)
Team of Departement of Urban and Regional Planning-Universitas Diponegoro coordinated by Prof. Dr.sc.agr. Iwan Rudiarto with 2 (two) team members i.e. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Wiwandari Handayani and Dr. Wahyu Anang Sejati collaborated with Kota Kita Foundation – https://kotakita.org/ and Inisiatif Kota untuk Perubahan Iklim (IKUPI) – https://ikupi.org/en/home/ develop audiovisual material to become an online-based course that would be widely accessible by students from various universities and disciplines. Material development and preparation of MOOCs have been going on from June 2021 to October 2021, focus on discussing problems in urban and rural coastal areas, especially in Central Java due to a massive urbanization and climate change in line with the goals and targets of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities.
