Adjunct Professor is one of the World Class University (WCU) Programs (https://wcu.undip.ac.id/v2/) to increase the quality and quantity of research, teaching and innovation development (research, teaching, and innovation) at University Diponegoro. The Adjunct Professor program aims to increase the number of foreign lecturers as guest lecturers, examiners, supervisors, and other academic activities at Undip and to develop joint teaching and research collaborations that will result in joint publications. Through this program, DURP Undip actively involves to improve its international reputation in line with ASIIN’s international accreditation obtained in early 2022.
Prof. Dr. Walter Timo de Vries (Chair of Land Management, School of Engineering and Design Department of Aerospace and Geodesy Technical University Munich – Germany) is an adjunct professor at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning (DPWK) – UNDIP with a focus on spatial planning and smart land management. Some of the courses related to his expertise at DURP are Land Development, Geographic Information Systems, and Smart City.

Some of the activities that have been held include:
1. The International Lecture Series (ILS) which was held in a hybrid manner and also broadcast via youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F24b9cDXsCc)on Tuesday, 19 July 2022 with the theme “Optimizing Public, Social and Economics Values in Land Management”, moderated by Prof. Dr. Iwan Rudiarto, ST, MSc in the DPWK Theater room in a hybrid way.

2. The public lecture “Academic Writing and Publication” was held on Thursday, July 21, 2022 in a hybrid manner, and as moderator was Wido Prananing Tyas, ST, MDP, PhD

3. Coaching Clinic Manuscript which was attended by teaching staff and master and doctoral students of DPWK who already had the concept of articles as supporting activities for publication in reputable international journals.
