Urban Design Laboratory

Wakhidah Kurniawati is an associate professor at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Engineering – Diponegoro University. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in urban and regional planning (UNDIP), master degrees in architecture (ITB), and holds a doctoral degree from the TU Darmstadt - Germany in Urban Design and Development. Her research focuses on heritage resilience, public space transformation and management, urban kampong, and urban regeneration. She actively involves in works related to heritage and urban kampong sustainability and resilience since 2018. She is member of Indonesian planners association, and Indonesian urban designers association.
