Tema utama Summer Course 2022 adalah Sustainable Cities and Communities yang berfokus pada perencanaan berkelanjutan di beberapa kampung dengan tipologi berbeda di Semarang (Kampung Tambaklorok, Kampung Bustaman, Kampung Kandri & Bendungan Jatibarang dan Kampung Batik Malon). Mahasiswa diharapkan memiliki pemahaman yang komprehensif, khususnya dalam mencapai Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Nomor 11. Topik diskusi mencakup berbagai aspek untuk mencapai Sustainable Cities and Communities seperti Pemukiman Berkelanjutan, Infrastruktur Berkelanjutan, Ekonomi Berkelanjutan, dan Bencana Mitigasi

“The DURP-UNDIP Summer Course 2022 was a very fun and informative two weeks where we learned and implemented knowledge on sustainable cities and communities to case study kampungs in Semarang. I am so glad that a portion of the summer course was offline, as we got to visit the kampungs in person, and meet and work together with people both from around the world as well as some of the future urban and regional planners of Indonesia currently studying at UNDIP.
