On Friday, September 29, 2023, International Lecture Series #06 took place. It was held online and broadcast on the YouTube channel. This ILS activity carries the theme Sustainable Urban Form, which is related to Sustainable Development Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Societies) and Sustainable Development Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). On this occasion, Mrs. Diah Intan Kusuma Dewi, M.Eng from the Department of Regional and City Planning, as moderator guided the discussion with two presenters. The first material was delivered by Dr. Wan Nurul Mardiah Wan Mohd Rani from Razak Faculty of Technology and Informatics, University of Technology Malaysia regarding Sustainable and Resilience Urban Form. Furthermore, Grandy Loranessa Wungo, MT from the Diponegoro City and Regional Planning Department explained the results of her research on Measuring the Sustainability Performance of Mixed-Used Development in Semarang City using the LEED Approach. Important notes in the discussion include that in realizing sustainable and resilient city design, it is necessary to pay attention to aspects of resilience to disasters and climate change, environmental sustainability, social sustainability, and economic sustainability. Cities need to be planned, designed and developed to reduce their impact on the environment, be resilient to the impacts of climate change and contribute to economic growth. The activity, which was attended by 134 participants from lecturers, students of the undergraduate, master and doctoral programs from the Urban and Regional Planning Department, Diponegoro University, and representatives of government institutions online via Zoom, ran smoothly. The discussion session went well in terms of the participants’ high enthusiasm in asking questions and responding to the presentations given by the lecturers.
