Starting from July 3 to August 4, Armeino Fadhlan Atana participated in the Summer Course – Design Innovation Sustainable Cities (DISC) at the University of California, Berkeley, San Francisco. One of the learning activities was conducting surveys and SWOT analysis in the Embarcadero coastal area.
There was a visit to the museum of US Army Corps of Engineers Bay Model. This organization represents a collaboration between the City Government, private sector, and the US Army to illustrate flood modeling and sea-level rise risks in San Francisco and surrounding areas.
